Teja Sajja is riding high on the commercial success of Hanu-Man and Mirai, and while audiences await his next theatrical outing, Zombie Reddy 2 – NXT LVL, the actor is exploring an entirely new space. Teja is making his reality-show hosting debut with The Traitors Telugu, Prime Video’s Telugu adaptation of the internationally acclaimed reality franchise. Produced by SOL Productions, the 10-episode series brings 20 personalities together for a high-stakes game of trust, strategy and betrayal.
The concept revolves around a simple but dangerous question: whom can you actually trust? The 20 contestants are secretly divided into Innocents and Traitors. While the Innocents must identify the Traitors hiding among them and survive the game, the Traitors have to manipulate their fellow contestants, remain undetected and eliminate their opponents. With secret identities, shifting alliances, mind games and unexpected betrayals driving the show, The Traitors has already become a global franchise with adaptations in more than 30 countries. The Telugu version follows the strong response to its Hindi counterpart and brings a distinctly Telugu set of personalities into the format.
The Traitors Telugu will premiere worldwide on October 15, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. The 10-episode season will be released over four weeks, with new episodes dropping every Thursday at 12 noon IST. The show will stream in Telugu with English subtitles, giving Teja an opportunity to connect with audiences in a completely different avatar. With the actor bringing his own style and spontaneity to the hosting duties, the show is expected to offer a fresh alternative to the conventional Telugu reality-show format.
